How We Work

Every project follows our tried and true below process—whether you end up needing a simple repair or a complete exterior renovation.  Spoiler: We actually show up.

Initial Contact & Consultation

What Happens: You reach out via phone, text, or our website.  We ask questions to understand your situation and schedule a convenient time to visit your property.  Revolutionary, we know.

What We Need: A description of your problem or project, your address, and any photos if you have them (especially helpful for emergency situations).  "There's a bucket in my living room" tells us a lot.

Timeline: We typically respond within 24 hours for standard inquiries, same-day for emergencies.  Unlike that contractor from 2019 who's still "getting back to you."

Professional Site Inspection

What Happens: We come to your property and conduct a thorough inspection.  We will do whatever is necessary to ensure your job goes off as seamless as possible.  This involves interior and exterior checks for issues (roof tops, attics, basements, etc.), looking for any problem areas, even ones you might not know about, and taking measurements all in one visit so we can accurately provide a scope of work and estimate.

What Makes Us Different: We don't just look at symptoms—we identify root causes.  If your leak is actually caused by poor flashing rather than bad shingles, we'll tell you.  Crazy concept: fixing the actual problem.

Your Role: Show us the problem areas, share any history (when it was last repaired, ongoing issues, that sketchy guy who "fixed it" for $200 cash), and ask questions.

Assessment & Options

What Happens: We explain what we found in plain English—no confusing jargon designed to make you feel dumb and just say yes.  We'll show you photos if needed and walk you through your options based off our findings.

The Good, Bad, and Reality: We'll give you ALL feasible options with honest pros and cons.  We build value with our clientele and wish to be an asset when it comes to their exterior needs.  Most of our work comes from referrals of highly satisfied customers.  Remember, we are customers in our daily dealings too!

What You'll Receive: A detailed written estimate including scope, materials, labor, timeline, and any other pertininent information.  No surprise "oh we forgot to mention" extras later. The price we quote is the price you pay for the scope given.

Material Selection & Planning

What Happens: Once you approve the estimate, we help you choose materials, colors, and styles that match your home and budget.  Yes, there are approximately 107 shingle colors.  We'll narrow everything down as well as discuss design elements and options that complement your existing home.

Our Role: We source quality materials from trusted suppliers and schedule the work around your timeline and weather conditions.  (Note: We cannot control the weather. We've tried.)

Your Role: Make final decisions on materials and provide any access information—gate codes, dog names, which neighbor definitely hates contractors parking in front of their house; anything you think that can add value to your installation and service from us that we may need.

Timeline: Typically 1 - 4 weeks from approval to start date, based on project type and material availability.  Depending on the service(s) being provided, some things are special order (e.g. windows, doors, etc.).  Also, naturally Mother Nature needs to act accordingly for our exterior projects.

Professional Installation

What Happens: Our experienced crew arrives on schedule (shocking, right?), protects your property, and gets to work.  We maintain clean job sites and communicate throughout the project.

What to Expect: Noise, activity, and temporary disruption—home improvement isn't silent.  But we minimize impact on your daily life and don't blast death metal at 7am.  Most roofing projects take 1 - 2 days and siding can take 1 - 2 weeks depending on size.  All jobs timelines will be discussed in detail leading up to the start of the project so you are well aware.

Quality Control: We typically are on the jobsites daily because we take great pride in what we do and oversee each project  We also secure everything safely at the balance of each work day prior to departure on multi-day projects, until we can resume work—no half-finished jobs left open to the elements.

Communication: We keep you updated on progress and immediately address any concerns.  No ghosting mid-project.  No stolen deposits.

Final Walkthrough & Cleanup

What Happens: We walk the property with you, answer any questions, and ensure you're completely satisfied.  We clean up thoroughly—magnets find nails, rakes find debris, and your yard doesn't look like a construction zone threw up on it.  Any dumpsters or trash is removed from the premises.

Documentation: You receive warranty information, care instructions, and our contact info for any future questions.

Our Guarantee: If something's not right, we fix it.  Period.  We don't consider a job done until you're happy with the results—not when we get our final payment.  Happy previous customers means return customers, more referrals for new customers, and elevating the communities in which we live.  Win-win.

Post-Project Support

What Happens: We don't disappear faster than your teenager when there are chores to do.  Questions about maintenance?  Notice something after a storm?  We're here.

Warranties: Manufacturer warranties on materials plus our workmanship guarantee.  We stand behind every installation—and we'll actually be around to honor that guarantee.

Future Projects: Need something else down the road?  We remember you, your house, and probably your dog's name.  Referrals are always welcomed as well.  Feel free to talk about your Leaky experience.
